Former Inter wing back Antonio Candreva has fixed his issues with Sampdoria and will re-join the squad, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 33-year-old Italian net with Ranieri and sporting director Carlo Osti recently to discuss the issues, which saw the player not included in the squad for the match against Hellas Verona earlier this week.

Candreva is restarting now with more momentum than before, in order to help Sampdoria and increase the club’s position in the league table.

President Massimo Ferrero has also worked hard recently to restore the relationship between coach and player.

Candreva, who could have potentially returned to Inter due to the situation, understood Ranieri’s position and is prepared to let the pitch do the talking now.

The 33-year-old former Lazio man has made 10 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 667 minutes.

In that time, he has scored one goal and provided three assists.
