Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is working hard to be fit enough to face Hellas Verona in the Nerazzurri’s last game of 2020 next week, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia.

The report details how the 32-year-old Chilean forward, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2023, has been suffering from adductor problems recently, that kept him out of the 1-0 win against Napoli earlier this week.

The former Arsenal star will not be available for tomorrow’s league clash against newly promoted Spezia, but is working hard in order to feature against the Gialloblu next week.

The Inter medical staff are working closely with him and his situation will become clearer in the early parts of next week.

Sanchez has made 14 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 657 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided three assists.

The Chilean is struggling to find the back of the net this campaign, pushing the Nerazzurri to look for a backup striker for Romelu Lukaku in the January transfer window.
