Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal will not start against Spezia tomorrow, with coach Antonio Conte instead preferring to deploy Marcelo Brozovic, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInter1908 earlier today.

The report details how the 28-year-old Croatian midfielder, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2022, suffered a slight injury to his foot in the 1-0 win over Napoli earlier this week, but has recovered quickly and is already ready to start again.

Vidal returned to squad training earlier and won the small match at the end of training, but will start on the bench alongside other midfield options like Stefano Sensi and Christian Eriksen.

Starting alongside Brozovic will be Nicolo Barella and Roberto Gagliardini, the report continues, with Achraf Hakimi on the right and Ashley Young on the left.

Ahead of them will be Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku. In defense, Conte will deploy Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni, ahead of Samir Handanovic.
