Inter have finally recovered from their midfield crisis, giving coach Antonio Conte a number of options for the department, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how 33-year-old Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal has recovered from the thigh problems that kept him out of the last three games across the league and Champions League.
The Nerazzurri do not want to rush the former Bayern Munich man and so he will start today’s clash against Spezia on the bench.
Starting in the midfield today will be Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini, the report continues.
Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi is also nearing peak fitness and will hopefully make a strong impression on the 51-year-old Italian coach after the Christmas break.
The Nerazzurri are currently second in the league table after 12 games, sitting on 27 points, one behind rivals and league leaders AC Milan.
