Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will make his 300th appearance across Europe’s top five leagues in today’s match against Spezia, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the 27-year-old Belgian forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has been incredibly decisive again this season for Antonio Conte’s side. Even when the player isn’t playing well, like against Napoli, he still managed to find the back of the net.
Lukaku is one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, having scored 14 goals already this campaign in only 16 appearances.
In the 25 league games where Lukaku has scored for Inter, they’ve won 20 of them, losing only twice and drawing the other three.
Last season, Lukaku made 51 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 4189 minutes.
In that time, he scored 34 goals and provided six assists, being a clear star under coach Antonio Conte.
