Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani discussed Inter’s important 2-1 win over Spezia earlier today in a post on his Twitter page.

The Nerazzurri’s win over the newly promoted Ligurian side earlier was their 6th consecutive win in the league, with the club responding well after their disappointing early exit from the Champions League earlier this month, after finishing bottom of their group.

Inter’s win means that they remain second in the Serie A table after 13 games, sitting on 30 points, one behind rivals and league leaders AC Milan, who also won today after beating Sassuolo.

Their next game is against Ivan Juric’s Hellas Verona next week on Wednesday, a key game as Antonio Conte’s side look to finish 2020 on a high note.

The squad will then take a Christmas break, before returning in the new year to face newly promoted Crotone on the 3rd January.

Ravezzani commented on the game, saying:

“Inter were frankly ugly and lacking in entertaining ideas. But they achieve their fifth consecutive success and so for now it’s okay. But playing like this they can’t expect to win the league.”
