A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has listed the reasons Inter are feeling confident ahead of today’s Serie A clash against Spezia.
The report details how the Milanese club have regained their consistency and balance after returning to the tried and tested 3-5-2 formation. The recent wins have fixed the Nerazzurri’s position in the league table, leaving them second after 12 games, only a point behind league leaders and rivals AC Milan.
The upcoming schedule is also kind to Antonio Conte’s side, as their next games after today are against Hellas Verona, Crotone and Sampdoria, three games that Inter will be expecting to perform well in.
The Inter squad have also started to perform better at home in the San Siro, despite the lack of fans. They’ve won their last three consecutive home games, finally making the stadium the fortress it once was to visiting teams.
