Inter coach Antonio Conte is expecting a reinforcement in attack in the January transfer window, with the top option being Parma’s Gervinho, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach is looking for a suitable replacement for Italian youngster Andrea Pinamonti, who has hardly featured this campaign despite Inter’s need to make rotations.

The 33-year-old Gervinho, who was also followed in the summer transfer window, is the Nerazzurri’s top pick currently, especially because the idea of sending Pinamonti to Parma in exchange for the Ivorian forward is still alive.

The Milanese club will be happy to sell Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan to Cagliari as well next month, the report continues.

After Christmas, the two clubs will meet to find a solution that works for everyone, with Inter now being more open to a loan deal rather than only a definitive sale.
