Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul: “I Like Inter Midfielder Arturo Vidal A Lot”

Udinese talisman and Inter target Rodrigo De Paul discussed Nerazzurri midfielder Arturo Vidal, his future and other players he appreciates in an interview with international broadcaster BeIN Sports earlier today.

“I think one of the most complete is Pogba, he has everything a midfielder needs. I also like Vidal a lot, he scores goals and has many other characteristics, as his impressive career shows.

“Then I like Kroos and Modric, who are midfielders with different characteristics but that one can learn to grow.”

The 26-year-old Argentinian midfielder then spoke about his future and which leagues he is a fan of.

“I have always said that Serie A, the Premier League and La Liga are the best leagues in Europe. I have already played in two of them, I miss the Premier League.”

The 26-year-old De Paul, who is contracted to Udinese until 2024, has made 14 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1277 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided three assists.

The player has long been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri, but the Friulians command a high price tag for their talismanic figure, pushing away the Milanese club.

Inter are looking to strengthen their squad in the upcoming January transfer window, with a new left wing back, new midfielder and new backup forward all wanted by coach Antonio Conte.

The Nerazzurri are also set to thin out the squad, with unneeded players like Matias Vecino, Christian Eriksen and Radja Nainggolan likely to be sold or sent away on loan.
