Inter and Arsenal are back in talks over a potential swap deal in the January transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

As per this report, Inter and Arsenal held talks over a swap deal that would have involved Christian Eriksen and Granit Xhaka back in September and the two clubs are back in talks as of a few hours ago trying to set-up a loan exchange for the rest of the season.

If the swap deal does indeed take place, the report states that the two clubs would meet for talks at the end of the season and decide to proceed from there.

A swap in the January transfer window would allow Eriksen to return to a league he is familiar with and starred in previously whilst with Tottenham Hotspur whilst it would allow Xhaka to move on from Arsenal, something he has wanted to do for a long time.
