Inter have lost just once when Piero Giacomelli has refereed them a report from Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com has highlighted ahead of Wednesday’s match between Hellas Verona and Inter, which he will be the referee in.
Giacomelli has refereed Inter on 10 occasions, all of which have come in Serie A. Inter have won four of these matches, drawn five and lost the other one.
The first time he refereed Inter came during the 2012/13 season when he refereed Inter’s 2-2 draw with Cagliari. The last time he refereed Inter was on the final day of last season when Inter ran out 2-0 winners away from home against Atalanta.
Inter head into Wednesday’s match at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi sitting in second place in Serie A after 13 games played. Hellas Verona meanwhile sit in ninth place in the Serie A table, 10 points off of Inter.
Last season Inter won 2-1 at home whilst the sides played out at 2-2 draw in Verona.
