Inter’s last three wins are directly linked to Stefano Sensi coming off the bench according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian national team central midfielder was a favourite of Conte’s early on last season before Sensi picked up an injury against Juventus and struggled to remain fit in the remainder of the season.
Sensi has also had injuries to deal with this season too but has recovered and returned to action in recent weeks and has proven that he can come off the bench and do very well.
He came on against Cagliari and Inter then came from 1-0 down to win 3-1, he then played a part in the penalty against Napoli being won as he played the ball to Matteo Darmian who was taken out by David Ospina and yesterday against Spezia he helped change the tempo of the game that Inter went on to win 2-1.
