Former Inter and current Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini has shared his admiration for Inter central midfielder Stefano Sensi following his recent return to action.

Since joining Inter in the Summer of 2019, Sensi has very much struggled to remain fit with him having picked up several injuries.

When on the park though, Sensi has very much impressed and he has proven to be somewhat of a good luck charm for Inter in recent weeks with him coming off the bench in matches coinciding with matches turning in Inter’s favour.

“I like him very much due to the qualities he has, he has given so much in this sense. I hope he’s all right,” Mancini, who had two spells in charge of Inter, remarked in his end of year press conference, which took place earlier on today.

Mancini, who has been in charge of the Italian national team since 2018, then shared his thoughts on this Serie A season and spoke on the level that he thinks Inter, who are currently in second place, are on.

“The league is more exciting, it’s better for everyone. It is clear that Juve remain the strongest, but Inter are more or less at the same level.

“The league can advantage for the national team, all teams and players can fight for the top. We have a group of players and we hope to add more. It is only important that the boys play.”
