Parma coach Fabio Liverani spoke about which teams he thinks are the favourites for the league title this season whilst speaking to gathered reporters in a press conference, after the Emilian side’s 4-0 loss to the Bianconeri yesterday.

His words were collected by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

“Juve, if they have been winning for nine years it means they are still the favourites.

“The others have come closer, like Inter, who don’t have European competition, and Napoli, who have a very important squad, then Roma and AC Milan can also create difficulties, even if the scenario changes for the Rossoneri depending on Ibrahimovic.”

Antonio Conte’s Inter are currently second in the league table after 13 games, sitting on 30 points, one behind intercity rivals and league leaders AC Milan.

They are three points ahead of Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus, who are still undefeated this campaign domestically.

The Nerazzurri have been in good form in Serie A lately, winning their last six consecutive games, helping the side overcome their sluggish start to the season.

The Milanese club’s next game is against Ivan Juric’s Hellas Verona on Wednesday, a tough game as the Gialloblu currently sit in 9th in the league table, only four points behind fourth place Roma.
