Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio sent a clear message to Cagliari with his comments regarding Radja Nainggolan prior to yesterday’s 2-1 Serie A win over Spezia, according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Ausilio admitted to Sky Sport Italia that the club have tried to understand the needs of the Belgian central midfielder, who has fallen out of favour at Inter this term and barely played whatsoever.

Moreover, Ausilio explained that the club will try and satisfy the needs of Nainggolan if they can but made it clear that Inter will not just give him, or anyone else, away.

Nainggolan has been limited to just five substitute appearances across all competitions to date this term and has also had to deal with multiple injuries.

Numerous reports have stated that Nainggolan has a desire to return to Cagliari, who he spent the duration of last season on loan with.
