Noted Italian football journalist Sandro Piccinini has shared his belief regarding what Inter need to find in order to be able to offload Christian Eriksen in the upcoming January transfer window.

“Eriksen has a contract worth €7.5 million net plus add-ons a year until 2024. It is a big contract to try and sell him in January.

“You really have to find someone who loves him,” Piccinini remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, earlier on today.

Eriksen only joined Inter last January but has had a nightmare 11 month spell in Milan and many reports have suggested that him departing next month is pretty much inevitable.

The 28-year-old Danish national team player has drawn links to a whole array of clubs across Europe in recent weeks and month from Arsenal to Paris Saint-Germain.

Multiple media reports have suggested that Inter could include Eriksen in a swap deal for a player deemed more suitable for Antonio Conte’s team.

This season Eriksen has made 12 appearances across all competition to date for the Nerazzurri club, in which he has failed to score or assist any goals.
