Inter and Atalanta are both willing to make bids to sign Atletico Madrid attacker Angel Correa in next month’s January transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet TodoFichajes.com.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wants reinforcements out wide and has thought about the Argentine whilst Atalanta look set to lose Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez and are looking for a player who can replace him and act as a link between the midfield and the attack.

Correa is currently a starter for Atletico Madrid which will make a deal far from easy to achieve but the repot does explain that he is a player that Los Rojiblancos are willing to listen to offers for.

They value him at €40 million and it will be difficult for that price to be any lower given his status in Diego Simeone’s side.

This season the 25-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has managed to score one goal and provide eight assists for his teammates.
