Inter Will Try To Sign Bayern Munich’s David Alaba On Free Transfer, German Media Claim

Inter are prepared to try and sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba according to a report in the print edition of German news outlet Kicker.

Alaba’s contract with the German Bundesliga side is due to expire at the end of the current season and he seemingly has no plans whatsoever to sign a contract extension with the Bavarian side.

It will not be easy for Inter to try and sign Alaba, who is free to agree a pre-contract with any club from January 1, seeing as the Nerazzurri face competition from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Juventus for his signature.

In recent seasons Inter have managed to land the likes of Stefan de Vrij and Diego Godin on free transfers and it cannot be excluded that they could even land Austrian national team representative Alaba on a free transfer as well.

This season the 28-year-old has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has managed to score one goal and provide a single assist.
