Inter must sell players before attempting to satisfy the requests of manager Antonio Conte according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Conte seems to be determined to ask club management for some reinforcements to bolster his squad but it remains to be seen how much room for manoeuvre there will be.

Conte has told club management that he feels other teams are better equipped than his at the moment when it comes to mounting a Scudetto challenge and a second act to the Villa Bellini meeting in August looks likely to take place.

As things stand, Inter can only hope to raise funds through sales and have a low cost transfer market without being able to repeat a similar deal to the one they signed Christian Eriksen in last January.

Radja Nainggolan, Eriksen, Andrea Pinamonti and Matias Vecino are all considered as out of the club project and the club will try and move this quartet on, which would save the club around €30 million gross.

When it comes to incomings, a striker is high on Inter’s list and the report concludes by stating that Parma’s Gervinho and Cagliari’s Leonardo Pavoletti are possible options.
