Inter will focus on strengthening the midfield and the attack in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Midfielders Christian Eriksen, Radja Nainggolan, Matias Vecino will all depart the club as will young striker Andrea Pinamonti.

The report goes on to explain that Cagliari are tempted by Nainggolan, who spent last season on loan with them. The two clubs could possibly come to an agreement over a swap deal involving Nainggolan and Leonardo Pavoletti, who, due to his characteristics, could be the long sought back-up to Romelu Lukaku.

If Conte would rather have a striker with different characteristics, Inter and Parma could potentially swap Pinamonti and Gervinho, who Inter already tried to sign at the end of the last transfer window.

There is also Atalanta’s Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez but everything will depend on the conditions that Atalanta set-out for a deal to be done.
