Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul has admitted that he will leave the Bianconeri when the time is right but he will not force a move away from the club.

The highly rated Argentine national team player has long been linked with a move away from Udinese with Inter having been very strongly linked with making a move to sign him.

Multiple reports have suggested that Inter could move to sign him perhaps as soon as January but it is dependent on them offloading Christian Eriksen, who was publicly placed on the transfer list yesterday by Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta.

“I always want more. The feeling you get when you play in a quarter or semi final in the Champions League must be crazy. I’m sure I’ll play in them sooner or later, if you work well you can reach your goals,” de Paul remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, a short time ago.

He then went on to add: “I want to be prepared for that moment, I don’t want to force anything, I’ll leave Udinese at the right time.”

This season the 26-year-old, who is contracted to Udinese until 2024, has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has managed to score three goals and provide three assists.
