Inter manager Antonio Conte has asked club management to bring in Torino striker Simone Zaza in next month’s transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet TodoFichajes.com.

Conte wants an experienced striker added to help out his Inter side in the second half of the season and Zaza would be a player that meets his expectations.

Conte has already worked with Zaza previously and the 29-year-old, who is contracted to Torino until the end of the 2022/23 season, will cost at least €9 million.

Other reports in the media have linked Inter with a whole array of other experienced strikers. Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud has long been linked whilst the likes of Shandong Luneng’s Graziano Pelle, Parma’s Gervinho and Cagliari’s Leonardo Pavoletti have all also been linked.

Udinese’s Kevin Lasagna is yet another name that has been linked with Inter, who have been in the market for an experienced striker for a long time.
