Inter will have to sell Christian Eriksen for just over €21 million next month if they wish to avoid recording a loss on him according to a report from Italian news outlet Calcio e Finanza.

Eriksen joined Inter in a deal worth €26.997, of which €7.5 million was compensation to agents, in the last January transfer window and he was yesterday publicly placed on the transfer market by Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta.

Eriksen’s value against Inter’s budget at the end of the most recent financial year was €24.422 million and from December 31, his value against Inter’s budget will be €21.37 million, which is the minimum amount Inter must sell Eriksen for if they do not want to make a loss.

If Inter do offload Eriksen next month, the report highlights they will be able to make a gross saving of €4.5 million in wages.

The Danish national team player has been strongly linked with potential moves to Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
