Inter youngster Sebastiano Esposito has admitted that Inter teammate Danilo D’Ambrosio is his best friend in football.

“The first memory I have of football is with my brother, at home with our parents. We used to put the sofa as a barrier and we kicked penalties to hit the light switch to turn it off, ” he explained in an interview with Italian news outlet Cronache di Spogliatoio.

He then went on to discuss what he does to prepare himself before games that he plays.

“Before the game I listen to Neapolitan music, Neomelodic music from Gigi D’Alessio and Nino D’Angelo. I also like rap, especially that of my friend Rocco Hunt.”

Esposito, who is regarded as one of Inter’s most promising young players at the moment, then went on to explain which footballers posters he had up on his wall as a youngster.

“The poster I had in my room, after Diego Armando Maradona, was that of Francesco Totti. I have always admired how he played and him as a person.”

Esposito then went on to reveal who his best friend in football is: “Fortunately I have many friends who play football but my best friend in football is Danilo D’Ambrosio, he is someone who has helped me a lot.”

Esposito concluded the interview by going on to sing the praises of Inter striker Romelu Lukaku and revealed what the first piece of advice that the prolific Belgian national team forward gave him was.

“Romelu Lukaku is a fantastic person. The first piece of advice he gave me was to remain humble because it is not easy to do so when working in this environment.”

Esposito is currently out on loan at Serie B side SPAL for the duration of the 2020/21 season. The Italy under 21 national team player has scored one goals and in 13 games for them. He is contracted to Inter until 2025.
