Noted Italian football journalist and Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media platform Twitter to express his thoughts and feelings on Inter’s recent form.

Inter’s 2-1 win away to Hellas Verona last night in their final game of the calendar year was in fact their seventh straight win in Serie A and Ravezzani has praised Inter and also specifically praised Achraf Hakimi, who provided the assist for the opening goal, which was scored by Lautaro Martinez, who snapped an eight game goal drought.

The result temporarily put Inter top of the Serie A standings and they looked set to stay there for the remainder of the calendar year but AC Milan scored a late winner in injury time through Theo Hernandez which put them back top. As has been the case for a number of weeks, only a single point separates the Milanese clubs at the top.

Ravezzani posted: “Inter were tough and finally brilliant in the second half. Conte still asks for reinforcements, but he has a team that can win even this way. Hakimi’s growth is impressive.”
