Noted Italian football journalist and known Inter fan Fabrizio Biasin has shared his belief that whilst Inter may not be as nice to watch as their Serie A league leading city rivals AC Milan, they still have all that it takes in order to do very well this season.

Inter have won their last seven games on the bounce this despite not playing to the best of their ability in many of these matches. They currently sit one point behind AC Milan after 14 games played this season.

“Inter are maybe less beautiful than AC Milan, but they are a scary war machine. Hakimi is a modern wing-back. He can’t he defend well?

“Who cares. Inter have all the possibilities to do very well.” he explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio 24 show Tutti Convocati, yesterday afternoon.

Biasin then spoke on the possibility of Inter acquiring Atalanta captain Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez in next month’s transfer window: “Papu Gomez at Inter? He is an opportunity, but Percassi is not going to gift him away. If he can leave for free it’s a great deal.”

Biasin then went on to discuss the recent media speculation which has seen Inter strongly linked with making a potential move to sign Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul: “I know that Conte and Inter like De Paul very much, but I see signing him as something difficult for Inter.”
