Inter linked Papu Gomez will not be released on a free transfer by Atalanta and will cost around €8-10 million, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the 32-year-old Argentinian forward, who is contracted to the Bergamo based club until 2022, has suffered a complete relationship breakdown with coach Gian Piero Gasperini and will be certainly leaving the club next month.

Considering that his family have comfortably made their home in Bergamo, Gomez is not looking to move far, hence his interest in joining either Inter or AC Milan.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has a great relationship with Atalanta and is currently waiting to see how much they want for Gomez, as it is clear that he will not be released on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old has made 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1122 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals and provided four assists.
