Inter coach Antonio Conte does not believe in 21-year-old Italian forward Andrea Pinamonti and would prefer a more experienced forward, like Cagliari’s Leonardo Leonardo Pavoletti, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com yesterday.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach is not a fan of Pinamonti, who is contracted to the club until 2024. He will go out on loan next month, with the club replacing him with a more experienced forward that can provide backup for Romelu Lukaku

The 32-year-old Pavoletti, who is contracted to the Sardinian club until 2022, could be that player, the report continues.

Inter could look to send Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan to the Rossoblu in exchange for Pavoletti. The former Roma man is not wanted by Conte and would finally return to his beloved Cagliari.

Pavoletti has made 14 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 484 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist.
