Inter Coach Conte To Evaluate Conditions Of Sanchez & Pinamonti Next Week, Italian Media Highlight

Inter coach Antonio Conte will have to wait until the return of the squad next week before being able to evaluate the conditions of forwards Alexis Sanchez and Andrea Pinamonti, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 32-year-old Sanchez missed the last three games of 2020 due to adductor problems, meaning that there is a chance that he’ll miss the first game back against Crotone on the 3rd January.

The 21-year-old Pinamonti has been absent since late November with ankle problems, that have forced him to miss the last 10 games across all competitions. The Italian should be fit but may not be risked against the newly promoted Rossoblu.

Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino will certainly miss the game, having not made a single appearance this campaign due to a knee injury. He still hasn’t trained with the squad yet.
