Inter coach Antonio Conte will meet with Inter’s management at Appiano Gentile next week on Tuesday to discuss next month’s transfer market strategy, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach, sporting director Piero Ausilio, CEO Beppe Marotta and president Steven Zhang will meet and confirm their strategies for the upcoming winter transfer window, where there are some clear budgetary restrictions in place.

No large investments can be made without players being sold first, so the club will look to sell unneeded players like Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan and Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino.

Loan swaps are also still on the table, meaning that a possible exchange could take place between Eriksen and Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes.

Inter’s two main areas in need of reinforcement are a new midfielder and a backup striker, to give Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez more reliable backup.
