Inter are hoping to recover the injured Alexis Sanchez, Andrea Pinamonti and Matias Vecino ahead of their upcoming match against Crotone next week, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how coach Antonio Conte has given the squad an extra day off, meaning that they’ll return to training next week on Tuesday, to prepare for next weekend’s match against the newly promoted Rossoblu.

The return of Sanchez will be fundamental for the 51-year-old Italian coach, considering his only attacking options currently are Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.

Whilst Pinamonti is likely to be sent away on loan next month, Uruguayan midfielder Vecino may find more space upon his return.

The 29-year-old has missed the first half of the season due to a serious knee injury, but could feature as a rotational option for Conte after his recovery, and so may not leave next month.
