Inter are still looking for a new forward in next month’s transfer window, with Cagliari not open to a loan swap for Leonardo Pavoletti, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Rossoblu are not interested in exchanging Pavoletti for Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, and so will have to either pay his wages for the next six months whilst he’s on loan or sign him outright next month.

As such, Inter have turned their eyes to the Premier League, looking at forwards who do not feature often for their respective clubs, the report continues.

In Italy, three names still seem the most interesting for the Nerazzurri. These are Atalanta’s Papu Gomez, Parma’s Gervinho and Udinese’s Kevin Lasagna.

The 32-year-old Gomez, who is destined to leave the Bergamo based club next month, will have a price tag of around €8-10 million, which may be enough to push away the Milanese club.
