Inter wing back Achraf Hakimi has impressed in his first half season with the Nerazzurri, according to a report form today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 22-year-old Moroccan wing back has hit the levels Inter dreamed of when signing the player from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, in a deal worth €40 million.

Coach Antonio Conte appreciates the player’s attacking qualities and gives him space to run forward on the right wing, although his defensive work could still use a little improvement.

Hakimi has made 19 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1152 minutes. In that time, he has scored four goals and provided five assists.

The 22-year-old Moroccan wing back has clearly grown since his arrival at the start of the season, especially defensively, and will be an important part of the squad for a long time.
