Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik is pushing to leave the Partenopei in January, with Inter still interested in acquiring the 26-year-old Pole, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 26-year-old Polish forward has been completely frozen out of the side after failing to reach a contract renewal agreement with the Naples based club earlier this year. He has not even been included in the team’s squad registration list.

Milik is pushing to leave in next month’s transfer window as he doesn’t want to risk missing out on a spot in the Poland squad for next summer’s European Championships.

Both Roma and Inter are interested in acquiring the 26-year-old, although the Giallorossi are waiting to sign him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

There have been some talks with Premier League clubs, but it will be hard to find a solution that pleases president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
