Inter are not alone in having an interest in signing Liverpool central midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum according to a report from British broadcaster Sky Sports.

The Dutch national team player is out of contract at the end of this season and as per this report he will decide this week whether to agree a new deal or not with the reigning Premier League champions.

Barcelona are also interested in signing Wijnaldum and Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman remains hopeful that he can persuade Wijnaldum to swap Liverpool for Barcelona.

Koeman and Wijnaldum have a close relationship having worked together when Koeman was in charge of the Dutch national team.

30-year-old Wijnaldum, who has played for Liverpool since the Summer of 2016, has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date this term.

In his time on the park, which totals just over 1700 minutes, the former PSV Eindhoven player, has managed to contribute a single goal.
