Ivan Perisic could leave Inter for less than the €12 million Bayern Munich offered them in the Summer in next month’s transfer window according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Perisic spent the duration of last season on loan at the Bundesliga giants and had demanded €15-17 million to part ways with him on a permanent basis but Bayern Munich were unwilling to go beyond €12 million.

Perisic could however leave for less than €12 million and Inter could still record a capital gain on him provided he is sold for more than €6.5 million, which is his current value against the club’s books.

Moreover, Inter are in a bit of a hurry to sell him seeing as his contract expires at the end of next season.

The Croatian national team player, who has been converted into a wing-back this term, has an annual salary of €4 million net and the report explains that this is holding back a number of clubs from making a move to sign him.

The report concludes that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have both shown an interest in signing him recently.
