Liverpool’s Divock Origi is the latest player Inter management are taking a look at as they continue to seek a back-up to star striker Romelu Lukaku according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The signing of a new striker is considered as a priority for Inter in next month’s transfer window for two reasons. The first is Alexis Sanchez and his numerous injuries and the second is that Andrea Pinamonti appears destined to leave the club.

The report goes on to explain that Origi will leave reigning Premier League champions Juventus in the January tranfer window and his agent’s have been busy offering him out to clubs across Europe and many clubs have made enquiries including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa and Schalke.

Corriere dello Sport believe that Inter would have an advantage over these sides due to the fact they could offer Origi the chance to fight for a title as well as play alongside compatriot Lukaku.
