Mauricio Pochettino taking charge at Paris Saint-Germain could make it easier for Inter to acquire Leandro Paredes according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Pochettino is widely expected to succeed the recently sacked Thomas Tuchel at the reigning Ligue 1 champions and given his great admiration for Christian Eriksen, it could make it easier for Inter to swap Eriksen for Paredes, who Inter have long been linked with signing.

A swap deal involving Eriksen and Paredes has long been speculated about in the media and it now remains to be seen whether Pochettino does indeed take charge of Paris Saint-Germain and whether the two clubs can come to an agreement over a swap involving the Danish and Argentine national team representatives.

This season Eriksen has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has failed to make any goal contributions. Paredes has also made 12 appearances and has also failed to make any goal contributions.
