Radja Nainggolan’s future appears destined to be away from Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Nainggolan came very close to completing a permanent return to Cagliari last Summer following a season long loan spell with the Sardinia club but ultimately a deal never came to fruition.

A return to Cagliari is at the top of Nainggolan’s list of preferences when it comes to moving to a new club. If a move to Cagliari does not come off, there is no shortage of other club in Serie A that have shown an interest in signing him.

Inter plan on thinning out their squad next month and the report goes on to explain that Inter could include the former Belgian national team player in a deal to sign a player more useful to help Inter in their bid to win the Serie A title. Inter are also open to loaning him out.
