Cagliari will pay almost all of Radja Nainggolan’s salary during his loan deal according to a report from noted Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

The Belgian central midfielder is set to join the Sardinian club on a loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 season and the loan deal will not feature any sort of purchase option.

Nainggolan is due to earn €2 million net between now and June and as per Pedulla, the Rossoblu side will cover almost all of it but he does not provide a specific amount.

Former Roma player Nainggolan has fallen out of favour at Inter this season since returning from a season long loan spell at Cagliari but as per various sources, he is set to return to them on a loan basis.

This season the 32-year-old, who still has 18 months left to run on his contract with Inter, has made just five substitute appearances, in which he has failed to score any goals or assist any either.
