Former Inter goalkeeper and current Crotone captain Alex Cordaz has taken a look ahead to the upcoming fixture with his former employers.

Inter and Crotone will face off at San Siro on January 3, with kick off for the match scheduled for 12:30 local time.

Inter head into the match sitting in second place, one point off of top spot whilst Crotone, who were promoted from Serie B at the end of last season, are down in second last place, one point off bottom spot, which is currently occupied by Torino.

“Inter is part of my childhood, but many years have passed so beyond the memories we have to think about how to stop this team,” he explained in a press conference yesterday afternoon.

Cordaz then spoke on what he and his teammates need to do in order to try and beat Inter, something he openly admitted would be difficult.

“It will be difficult, but we will try. We will need great tenacity and attention, an important competitive spirit and perhaps not even that because we are playing against perhaps the strongest team in the league.”

Cordaz then went on to discuss what it is like to play at San Siro and how things will be different at San Siro compared to normal.

“Playing at San Siro is always a great feeling, but the difference is made by the fans and now it’s empty.”
