Radja Nainggolan would like to return to Cagliari according to a report from noted Italian football journalist and known Inter fan Fabrizio Biasin

Nainggolan is very much out of the Inter project and Biasin is the latest to report that the former Roma player would like to make a move back to the Rossoblu side.

“Nainggolan would like to return to Cagliari, but Cagliari do not have the money to pay his €4.5 million a year salary and Inter, rightly, do not intend to contribute,” he explained as part of his latest editorial piece for Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Biasin then went on to make it clear what Cagliari will have to do if they wish to bring the former Belgian national team player back to Sardinia, where he spent the duration of last season on loan.

“Therefore, either Cagliari throw in a counterpart such as Pavoletti or Cragno in June or the Belgian will stay in Milan.”

Biasin then went on to outline Inter’s intentions for central midfielder Matias Vecino, who is set to make a return from injury just shortly.

“Vecino? The Nerazzurri hope to be able to use him as a trading piece, perhaps to get to Udinese’s de Paul.”

de Paul is one of the players that Inter have been strongly linked with ahead of the upcoming January transfer window and it remains to be seen whether offering Vecino as part of a deal would be enough to convince Udinese to part ways with de Paul.
