Inter would like a player like AC Milan’s Franck Kessie and could therefore make a move to sign Fiorentina’s Alfred Duncan according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Duncan is not playing all that much with La Viola and shares similar characteristics to those of Kessie, who Inter drew links to in previous months.

Inter and Duncan are no strangers to one another with the Ghanaian midfielder actually coming through the academy ranks at Inter before being sold on to Sampdoria in 2014.

The 27-year-old joined his current employers last January with Fiorentina paying Sassuolo €17 million to sign him and he joined them on a four and a half year contract that runs until the end of the 2023/24 season.

This season Duncan, who has made nine appearances for the Ghanaian national team since 2012, has made just five appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist.
