Inter have identified Graziano Pelle as an alternative to Gervinho in case they cannot sign him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter have set their sights on signing Gervinho, who they believe would be perfect for manager Antonio Conte’s side but with Andreas Cornelius and Roberto Inglese both set to leave Parma next month, there is no guarantee that Gervinho will also be allowed to leave the Ducali club which is why they have identified Pelle as an alternative.

Pelle’s contract with Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng is set to expire in the next two days. Pelle has a good relationship with Conte and Conte is prepared to give him another chance in his team.

Conte is prepared to give Pelle, who earned €15 million a year in China, a chance provided that he accepts a salary no higher than that of Pinamonti, who Inter would be prepared to exchange for Gervinho.
