Inter dream of signing Donny van de Beek from Manchester United, however it will be very difficult, a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport suggest.

The Dutchman is one of several midfielders that Inter have been linked with ahead of next month’s January transfer window but the report goes on to explain that it is difficult to imagine the Premier League club being willing to let van de Beek leave just a few months on from buying him for €40 million from Ajax.

Dutch national team player van de Beek has not played as much as he was expected to when he arrived at Old Trafford from the Dutch giants.

The 23-year-old, who is under contract with Manchester United through to the end of the 2024/25 season, has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and tallied one assist in 760 minutes on the park.
