No club has come forward for Christian Eriksen and it is difficult to imagine any club coming forward with an offer to buy him outright according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

It is therefore easier for Inter to try and set-up a swap deal, presumably on a loan basis, to offload the Danish national team attacking midfielder, who has had a nightmare spell with the club since arriving last January from Tottenham Hotspur.

Inter are waiting on Mauricio Pochettino taking charge of Paris Saint-Germain and hope that Pochettino could come in for Eriksen who he worked with at Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal and Manchester United could well come forward for Eriksen with the report from the Rome based news outlet stating that Arsenal could offer up either Granit Xhaka or Dani Ceballos in exchange for Eriksen, who has failed to make any goal contributions in 12 appearances across all competitions to date this term.
