Inter central midfielder Arturo Vidal has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to congratulate his former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi on his recent achievement.

Messi recently broke Pele’s long standing record for goals for a single club with him now having scored a grand total of 644 goals for the Blaugrana club who he has spent the entirety of his career with.

Vidal, who played alongside Messi at the Camp Nou for two years between 2018 and 2020, posted: “I congratulate you Leo Messi for this new record. You are number one, extraterestrial.”
