Alexis Sanchez should make a full return to training alongside the rest of his Inter teammates either today or tomorrow according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean national team player has been out injured for the past few weeks but appears set to return to full training imminently. The hope is that the former Barcelona and Arsenal star will be able to be available for Inter’s first match of 2021 which comes against Crotone on January 3 at San Siro.

Sanchez, who joined Inter on a permanent basis in the Summer following a season long loan spell in the previous season, has made 14 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, which totals just under 700 minutes, he has contributed two goals and three assists.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that Matias Vecino and Andrea Pinamonti will make full returns to training next week.
