Inter’s January transfer window largely depends on Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Danish national team attacking midfielder has failed to live up to expectations in his time with Inter and is widely expected to bid farewell to the club next month having drawn interest from no shortage of clubs across Europe.

One way he could depart the club is via a swap deal although this report states that a swap with Paris Saint-Germain which would see Inter acquire Leandro Paredes has not taken off.

The reason for this is because incoming Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino has not indicated he wants Eriksen signed whilst Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo would not wish to crowd the already crowded attacking department any further.

Therefore, Eriksen may return to the Premier League, where Arsenal are perhaps the most interested. A swap deal involving either Granit Xhaka or Dani Ceballos a possibility.
