Serie A duo Inter and Roma have both been offered the chance to sign Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Cakir has spent virtually his entire senior career with Trabzonspor and is under contract with them through to the end of the 2023/24 season and the Super Lig side have an option to extend that by a further season.

The 24-year-old Turkish national team representative is the latest in a long line of players to have been linked with Inter, who are well known to be on the hunt for a long term replacement for current number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

Cakir has been virtually ever present for Trabzonspor this season with him having appeared in all barring two of their 16 games played across all competitions to date. He has managed to keep a total of five clean sheets this term and has 19 clean sheets in 91 first team appearances.
